Wishwrapping

 
 1. How is Wishwrapping different from shopping at other online gift stores?

At Wishwrap, every gift you give can be paired with any of our 27 wishwords to express a unique sentiment. Because you select your own wish, your gift will be both personal and thoughtful – with one easy click.

 2. Do I have to select a wish for a product I want to buy? What if I want to buy something for myself?

While you can always select a wish for any of our products, you can also choose not to have a product paired with a wish by choosing ‘none’ in the wish selection dropdown when adding a product to your shopping bag. Or, you can select one of our Exclusive Gift Packages and leave the wish selection to us. Our goal is to bring you a shopping experience that meets your gift-giving needs, whatever they may be.

 3. How much does the special Wishwrap packaging cost?

The signature Wishwrap packaging is an important part of the Wishwrap experience. It will leave a lasting impression for the recipient of your gift, and it will also tie the sentiment you selected to your gift. In fact, we believe that the Wishwrap packaging is so important that we will provide it with every gift at no cost to you.

 4. Can I enclose a message with my Wishwrap gift?

Every Wishwrap gift will come with a card that expresses the sentiment you selected for your gift recipient. During the checkout process, you can view and modify the message directly in the sample gift card. While you can make any change you want, we recommend keeping the sentiment you selected in the card.

 5. Can I change the items in a Gift Package?

Although you cannot change any item in the pre-made Gift Packages, you can create your own, if you would like. Simply add multiple products to your Shopping Bag, selecting the same occasion and the same recipient for each product. We will group your products into packages. All products are Wishwrapped free of charge, regardless of the size of the order.

 6. Will my order be packaged in a bag or a box?

Typically, all of our Gift Packages and jewelry items come in boxes, and the rest of the items come in bags. For oversized items which may not fit in a bag or a box, we will just give a bag complimentary with the order, but will not be able to pack the gift inside it.

 7. Can I choose more than one wish for a gift?

You have the option of selecting any one of our 27 wishes for each gift. Due to the special care taken to package each gift, you can only select one wish per item.

 8. Can I choose my own wish for a product?

Each of our 27 wishes represents a unique sentiment. Your gift can be packaged in any of these wishes, or none. Unfortunately, we cannot generally accommodate requests for special packaging with different wishes not listed on the site. If you have a large order and would like to discuss your unique packaging needs, you can contact us at customercare@wishwrap.com with your request.

If you would like to suggest a new wish to be added to our current list of wishes, you may enter our Make A Wish contest and submit your request. In addition to having your wish granted as a permanent feature on our site, you will be eligible to win a prize valued at over $500!

 9. How will Wishwrap make sure that the recipient makes the connection between the wish and the gift given?

Each gift purchased at Wishwrap is delivered in special packaging that connects the wish conveyed to the recipient. The wish selected for the gift will be displayed on the gift card as well as on a tag around the gift itself.

 10. Do you personalize gifts?

Every gift at Wishwrap is unique and personal, from our packaging down to your gift message.

 

Ordering

 
 1. How do I order a Wishwrap gift?

In order to ensure the fastest and most secure service, we only allow online orders.

 2. Will the gift recipient see the price of the gift?

We won't include the price of the items on the packing slip included with the order, except for overseas orders and high-value items which must be insured.

 3. What happens if a gift is out of stock?

Normally, if a product is displayed on the website, we do have it in stock. However, in the rare event that it is no longer available by the time your order is processed, we will notify you as soon as possible. You will be given the option to change or cancel your order, or we can notify you when it becomes available again, with no charge to your credit card.

 4. How do I know you have received my order?

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as we receive your order. You will also receive an email once we have shipped your order, with the appropriate tracking number.

 5. What if there is a mistake on the gift message card?

We try our best to ensure that we convey your message accurately. However, we will not be responsible for any typing errors that are made on our end or yours, and we will not be held liable for any profanity that you include in your message. Please note that your message may not be confidential.

 6. Can I order from outside the United States?

Yes you can. Please see Shipping and Returns for a list of countries we currently ship to. All international shipments will be made by USPS Priority Mail only.

 7. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

For international orders, please note that all credit cards will be charged in US dollars, at the prevailing exchange rate charged by your provider. We have no control over this and will not be responsible for any discrepancy in the exchange rate.

 8. Will I pay sales tax on my online order?

Wishwrap is required by law to remit sales tax on shipments to California. Gift certificates, however, even those delivered in California, are not subject to sales tax.

 9. How do I cancel an order?

We process orders very quickly and once an order begins the fulfillment process we are usually unable to modify it. Please contact us at customercare@wishwrap.com for additional information on what can be done for your specific order.

 10. Can I purchase multiple gifts?

Yes, you can order multiple items to be sent to different shipping addresses. Simply add the name of each recipient when adding the product to the bag to ensure it gets separated. During the checkout process, simply enter each shipping address. If you are a registered user, your addresses will be remembered.

A separate delivery charge will apply to each gift.

Use our multiple ship-to capability to send gifts to different addresses, whether you're sending the same gift to everybody or different gifts to each address. Wishwrap has enhanced this service so that you can take care of all your gift giving in a single checkout. We separate not only each recipient, but also each occasion the gift is given for.

 11. Can the billing and shipping addresses be different?

Absolutely. We know you are most likely sending a gift for someone else, so the shipping addresses are bound to be different. However, you can send yourself a Wishwrap gift too!

Simply enter the appropriate address under ‘shipping address’ during checkout.

 

Delivery

 
 1. What are my delivery options?

Orders are normally shipped within 1-2 business days. Please allow additional delivery time depending on the delivery method you choose. If there is an unexpected delay or if an item is backordered, we will inform you as soon as we can so that you may change your order accordingly.

Within the continental United States, you can send by standard (7-10 business days), select (3-5 business days), or next-day. All next-day orders must be placed by 2pm EST to ensure they will reach by the next day.

Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada orders may only be shipped by standard delivery (7-10 business days). 

All other US territories and international orders will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail. Orders normally take 1-2 weeks to reach and we do not guarantee the delivery date. There may also be duties charged at the point of entry for which the recipient must be responsible, as we have no control.

Orders may also be placed to arrive on a specific day, well in advance. However, we will not deliver on weekends and public holidays.

 2. How late can I place an order to guarantee next-day delivery?

If you select next-day delivery and place your order by 2:00pm EST, we will process your order for next-day delivery (only available for orders within the continental US).

 3. How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are determined by the shipping method you select. Your order total will show the shipping charges before the order is placed.  For a complete list of our shipping rates, please see our Shipping and Returns policy.

 4. Can I send a gift to an address outside the United States?

We ship to select major cities around the world. International shipments are subject to duty, regulations, and rates based on country destination. At this time, shipments to P.O. boxes, APOs, and FPOs are not allowed.

 5. What if there is a problem with the delivery?

You will be given a tracking number so you will be able to check when your gift is delivered. For international orders, we do not offer this service.

If there are unexpected delays in the delivery, we will make every effort to inform you in advance.

 6. Will prices display on the packing slip of my gift order?

No, we will just say it’s a gift. However, for international shipments, we are obligated to state the price for customs purposes.

 

Privacy

 
 1. How does Wishwrap ensure that my credit card number will not be stolen when I place an order online?

Your personal information is safe when you shop online with Wishwrap. We have made security and privacy a priority for our customers. During checkout, our secure server will encrypt and protect your information safely behind a firewall, making it inaccessible to others. We do not store your credit card information in our database unless you have an account with us.

 2. Do you give out my personal information to other people or companies after I place an order with you?

Wishwrap is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. Information we collect is used solely to process orders and enhance customer care. We do not rent, trade or sell your personal information to any third party. Our site uses an order form so that you can request information, products and services. Contact information from the order form is used to send your orders and contact you should there be a question. Contact information for gift recipients is collected to insure correct gift delivery. Financial information (credit card information) that is collected is used to bill you for products and services. Financial information is not used for any other purpose than billing.

 

Returns

 
 1. How do I return a gift I received?

As long as the gift is unused, we’ll exchange it or give you store credit. Just replace the gift in its original packaging, and send it to:

If an item in your package is damaged upon receipt or if you have received the wrong item, please call us within 7 days of receipt to ensure we can replace the item for you. If you call after this, we will treat is a regular return and you will be responsible for any shipping and restocking charges incurred. Please see our ‘Return Policy’ for more information.

 1. How will my information be used?

Personal information collected for your account will be used to better serve you as a Wishwrap customer. We do not sell or trade your personal information to third parties.

 2. Can I set up a corporate account?

Whether you are interested in Wishwrapping for a particular event or just in having a regular relationship with us for your business gifting needs, we will be happy to assist you and offer you advice. Gift Certificates

 
 1. When does my gift certificate expire?

Gift certificates never expire, unless they are promotional - in which case you will have to check the terms and conditions of your particular certificate.

 2. How do I check the balance on my gift certificate?

If you are a registered user, you may check your gift certificate balance in your personal account area. Otherwise, you will also be able to check your balance during the checkout process.

 3. How do I use my gift certificate?

When placing an order, you will be asked to enter your gift certificate code in the second step of the checkout process.
